Queer Chicken Sandwiches?

One Richmond restaurant has put their own queer twist on a famous chicken sandwich. On Sundays, you can grab a Gay-Fil-A sandwich from Cobra Cabana (complete with waffle fries, Polynesian sauce, and frozen lemonade) while supporting an LGBTQ+ organization.

Cobra Cabana is a self-described "kick ass rock n roll bar with a killer kitchen" and has been serving their version of the sandwich for $12 on Sundays. Call ahead considering they have been selling out in 45 minutes recently. Additionally, you can find a vegan option made with locally sourced tofu.

Ten percent of proceeds go to Side by Side, a non-profit dedicated to supportive communities where Virginia’s LGBTQ+ youth can define themselves, belong, and flourish.

Cobra Cabana is currently taking phone orders at (804) 303-3577 for curbside pickup. Cobra Cabana is located at 901 W Marshall St, Richmond, VA 23220, and online on Facebook and Instagram.
