Black Pride RVA is Back

The first Black Pride RVA took place in July of 2018. This Black and LGBTQ event was the first official event of its kind in the entire Commonwealth of Virginia. People across Virginia and beyond came out to be a part of history. The theme of that inaugural weekend was “Pride with a Purpose.”

Black Pride RVA is back with a new theme focused on moving forward: “The Future Is Us.” This year’s events will be five days of fun celebrating five years of fostering inclusion and advancing equality within the Black LBGTQ+ Community.
