Why do you love Richmond?

Despite its conservative leanings and old school Southern traditions, you can find rich culture in RVA, including great theater, great food, and a warm and accepting LGBT community.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Richmond?

Hang out on the James River with a good book and my dog.

What do you do here?

Work as a paralegal for a labor and employment law firm. Regular column, Queer Books with Julie for Gay RVA, and write articles/profile pieces for the Gay Community Center of Richmond

Sticky Rice.

What would you tell somebody who has never been to Richmond before?

Richmond is the kind of city that will surprise you, in delightful ways.

What's your favorite store?

The Fountain Bookstore.

How do you spend your free time?

Reading, writing my novel, playing the flute, browsing local bookstores.

What's your favorite neighborhood?

The Fan and Fulton Hill.

Protective, warm, inclusive, friendly, smart and educated.
