Join Shockoe Bottom’s Fallout RVA and RVA Coven as they host an enchanting Witch’s Market. A variety of vendors, including Nightmare Thrifts, Hell Kitten RVA and Moonrise Tarot, will be there selling everything from teas, crystals, jewelry, potions and more! The market will also have dancers, reiki and fortune tellers. All ages. Free.

17th St. Farmers Market, Richmond, VA
Explore the historic haunts of old Richmond and come face to face with those who lurk in the shadows with an Eerie Nights Ghost Tour. The theatrical storytelling experience is led by costumed guides in character of a Richmonder from the 1800s or 1920s. As you embark on the spooky tour either by foot or trolley, you will be taken to several historic and haunted sites to hear the tales of the history and paranormal activity that took place there. Walking tours are an hour and a half and take off every Friday and Saturday night in October. The 1920s-themed Ghouls Trolley Tour is two hours and starts at 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays in October. General admission tickets range from $16 to $32 and all depart from the 17th St. Farmers Market.

The glorious spectacle that is Richmond’s annual Halloween Parade generously put on by All The Saints Theater Company will make its debut once again Halloween night. Dress up in costume, make your own giant puppets or flags and take to the streets to join one of Richmond’s most unique, creative and eye-catching Halloween traditions. As usual, expect live music, dancing, puppetry and the annual funeral march, of course. This year, the parade’s theme will be “A Life As We Wished It,” focusing on the climate crisis and humanity crisis. The parade will honor the burning Amazon rainforest, celebrate the death of Immigration & Customs Enforcement and celebrate indigenous peoples, people of color and trans and queer peoples. This year, The Hof is channeling the ghost of late singer Amy Winehouse for their 4th Annual Halloween celebration. Several DJs will be spinning tunes to keep you dancing through the evening, and make sure to don your best costumes for a chance to win a $250 prize.
