Why do you love Richmond?

Born and grew up here.I have lived in New Orleans, Vermont and Rappahannock County, but eventually returned. Richmond is an easy place to live with great people and artistic spirit.

What’s your favorite restaurant?

I will proudly say without apology that L'Opossum is my favorite restaurant. Everyday, I have the honor of working with amazing, talented and dedicated restaurant professionals. They inspire me and make a very tough career a great joy. My favorite dining experience in Richmond is Sally Bell's box lunches for two with a bottle of Billecart Salmon Rose or good sparkling cider in the bamboo overlooking the Japanese garden at Maymont.

What would you tell somebody who has never been to Richmond before?

It's much better than you think it is.

What's your favorite store?

Pawvayon, located in The Shops at Eviction in Scott's Addition. Richard Stone curates a refined and elegant display of vintage Chinoiserie pieces.

Lately, I am spending free time with my boyfriend checking out some of our great restaurants. We also enjoy Richmond's location for taking easy day trips to Staunton, Charlottesville and DC.
