I'm in the medical field working mostly with cancer imaging.

What’s your favorite restaurant?

The Proper Pie in the City and Kona Grill in Short Pump ..if you want upscale Bistro Bobbette is awesome.

What would you tell somebody who has never been to Richmond?

There is always something new to try. From food and wine bars, shows, breweries, art and history. If you're more outdoorsy, its one of the few cities with access to hiking, bike trails, rock climbing, and even whitewater for rafting and kayaking. It's awesome, and I've never felt uncomfortable here.

What's your favorite store?

I like Diversity Thrift, and of course REI in Short Pump. But just strolling along Carytown can offer some interesting finds.

How do you spend your free time?

I rarely plan, but Richmond offers so much, that being spontaneous is never a problem finding something to do. I love the hiking and kayaking options.

What's your favorite neighborhood?

Diverse, exciting, and inclusive.

Anything else you would like to add?

You gotta check it out. I honestly didn't look forward to my move here, but I love it now. If you have varied interests, be it culture, you're a foodie, or like to rock climb..Richmond has it all.
